Step Up for Hope

On Tuesday evening, October 25, over 100 community members came together for a fundraising event, “Step up for Hope”. Omari Chatman, a Hope mentor, gardener and leader shared how Hope changed his life. “Hope gave me the tools and showed me how to use them,” said Omari. “I learned how to grow things out of the dirt from a tiny seed. And I was a part of experiences that changed my life.”

Thanks to a community of donors, Hope’s work continues to make a difference in hundreds of lives each year. We are deeply grateful to Omari Chatman and Bonita Watkins for sharing their personal stories.
