Partnerships

a vision owned by many is a powerful catalyst

Our Vision

It takes a community to build a community. Across all our daily work we stay connected to a neighborhood vision through constant connections. Through Community Listening and other community development strategies, we have established deep and broad relationships in the community that help to guide our work. Our programs and real estate development projects are accomplished by engaging people and organizations in the community. The following partnerships illustrate the added value that partnerships bring to Hope:

Franklin-Portland Gateway Project

A real estate development partnership between Aeon and Hope is turning the formerly blighted intersection of Franklin and Portland Avenues into a vibrant place to live and work.

Learning in Community

Our community literacy program for parents and kids ages 6-9 was designed with pilot partner University of St. Thomas College of Applied Professional Studies.

Youth in the City Mentoring and Leadership

Partnerships are central to engaging youth around what’s important to them. Guest artists serve as mentors, educational institutions like the U of M help to inspire youth, and much more!

Teen & Young Adult: Leadership, Organizing and Art

Community is always at the center of our work with teens & young adults. Civic action projects give youth voice and ownership in their community.

Hope Learning Center

A partnership with Minneapolis Public Schools brings professional teachers to Hope’s adult education classes for immigrants.

Our Supporters
