Adult Learning Programs

Neighborhood Entrepreneur Training Program

Hope Community partners with the Neighborhood Development Center to offer this training in the spring and the fall to adults who want to start or expand a small business. The first 8 weeks of the 16-week program are spent in a once-a-week evening class; learners spend the final 8 weeks working independently and in periodic one-to-one meetings with the program trainer.

The Neighborhood Development Center has been helping small business owners succeed since 1993; Hope has hosted this program since 2002. Program graduates now run businesses such as child care, graphic design, catering, landscaping, translation, auto repair, and many others.

Apply today for the fall session. Applications are due, Tuesday, February 28. DownloadApplication. Program fees apply; some scholarships are available.
